I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Wayne K. Curry. I stand in solidarity with my colleagues in the state of Maryland as we all mourn the loss of a fearless leader, loving family man and humble public servant. He will be sorely missed.

Wayne K. Curry was a terrific lawyer and fellow alum of the University of Maryland Law school who was well-respected within the legal community.

During Curry’s tenure as County Executive, he was able to bring about real changes for Maryland residents. He will always be remembered most for contributing to the transformation of Prince George’s county into the revitalized community and economic hub that it is today.
